Certificates vs. Professional Designation
Certificate of Completion
Students who successfully complete a Universal Tax Academy program receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing their successful completion of the training.
A certificate recognizes successful completion of a specific training program.
PTP Designation
The Professional Tax Preparer designation is earned by students who complete the required training and earn 90% or higher on the comprehensive final exam.
Each enrollment includes two attempts to achieve the required score.
